Australia Post Changes to Perfume Shipping Rules
Dear Valued Customers,
We would like to inform you of recent changes to Australia Post’s shipping policies that affect how we can deliver our perfumes, both domestically and internationally. As part of new regulations introduced by Australia Post, perfumes are now classified as “Dangerous Goods” due to their flammable content, and as such, there are restrictions on how they can be sent.
Domestic Shipping
Unfortunately, Australia Post no longer allows the shipping of perfumes through their standard postal services within Australia. This means we are unable to send any of our perfume products via post to customers across the country. We understand this may be inconvenient for some of our loyal customers, and we are actively working on alternative solutions.
International Shipping
In addition to the domestic restrictions, perfumes can no longer be shipped internationally through Australia Post. This applies to all international destinations, and regrettably, it affects our ability to send orders outside of Australia.
Local Pickup Option at The Rocks Markets
To continue providing you with our handcrafted perfumes, we are now offering a Local Pickup option for all orders at The Rocks Markets. Before visiting, please contact us in advance to ensure we have your desired scents in stock, as availability may vary.
Exciting News – New Oil-Based Perfume
In light of these changes, we are currently working on a traditional, oil-based French-style perfume that smells just as exquisite as our alcohol-based range. This new formula contains nourishing Vitamin E oil and can be shipped, meaning you’ll still be able to enjoy our luxurious scents, regardless of postal restrictions.
We understand these changes may cause some frustration, but please know that we are exploring other avenues and courier services that may allow us to ship our alcohol-based perfumes safely in the future. We will keep you updated with any progress or changes in the regulations.
