What should be in a shaving kit?
A good shaving kit starts with a quality brush and razor. Add a shaving soap for lather, a bowl if you want to build lather properly, and a stand to keep everything dry between shaves. Blades and a travel case round it out.
What's the difference between badger and synthetic brushes?
Synthetic brushes dry faster and need no break-in — great for beginners. Badger hair absorbs water and builds richer lather, improving with use over months. Both work well; it comes down to preference.
