What Beard Oil Does — And Why It Matters
Beard hair is coarse. Coarser than the hair on your head, and it grows through some of the most sensitive skin on your face. Without oil, that hair dries out, gets scratchy, and the skin underneath flakes and itches. Beard oil fixes that.
A good Australian beard oil softens coarse hair from root to tip, hydrates the skin beneath, and reduces the itch that drives most blokes to shave it all off in the first week. It also adds a natural, healthy-looking shine — without the greasy residue you get from cheaper products.
This beard oil is made with pure Australian oils — sweet almond, macadamia, and apricot kernel — sourced locally and blended fresh in the Southern Highlands. These aren't filler oils. Sweet almond softens and smooths. Macadamia penetrates deep without sitting heavy on the surface. Apricot kernel keeps things lightweight and packed with vitamins A, C, and E. Add vitamin E for skin health, and you've got a natural beard oil that actually does what it claims.
It works on any beard length. Just started growing? It stops the early itch and conditions existing growth — beard oil won't make hair grow where it doesn't, but it reduces breakage and keeps what you have in better shape. Full beard? It keeps things soft and manageable. If your beard tends towards coarse, dry, or wiry — you'll feel the difference after the first use.
Every bottle is blended to order right here in Australia. Not mass-produced overseas and slapped with a local label. That's the difference between a beard oil made in Australia and one that's just marketed here.
How to Use
Drop a few drops into your palm, rub hands together, and work through a clean, dry beard—starting from the skin beneath. Finish with a comb or brush. Use daily or as needed.

Beard Oil FAQ
Does beard oil help beard growth?
Beard oil doesn't cause new hair growth. What it does is condition existing hair, reduce breakage, and keep the skin underneath healthy — which gives your beard the best chance to grow in fuller and stronger.
How often should I use beard oil?
Once a day after washing or showering is ideal. If your beard runs dry or you're in harsh weather, twice a day works fine.
Can I use beard oil and balm together?
Yes — oil first, then balm. The oil hydrates and the beard balm adds hold and shape on top. They work better together than either one alone.

A very nice oil. Lightweight so it doesn't make your beard look greasy and doesn't have that cooking oil smell that some other oils can have. The scent is strong enough to know it's there but not overpowering and it fades back nicely. I love the Stuga beard balm so I thought I'd try the oil to complete the regime. Very glad I did!
My second mail order from Stuga, like the previous order dealt with promptly, the order took @ five days to arrive, impressive as I live across the Tasman in NZ.
The actual product is excellent, I like the fragrance plus the oil really moisturises the skin.
Nick the owner runs a stall in Sydney at the Rocks weekend market, that's definitely worth a look to sample his various fragrancies.
As an aside I've found his customer service to be excellent - any queries they are dealt with promptly.
Highly recommend Stuga for shaving products.
I dont think my beard has appreciated me this much in a decade. Thankyou.
