Why wash your beard with a block?

Beard hair grows through facial skin that's more sensitive than your scalp, and regular shampoo or body wash is built to strip oil — which leaves a beard dry, brittle and itchy. A dedicated beard wash block cleans away the grime and build-up while leaving enough of your beard's natural oils intact to stay soft and manageable. And because it's a solid bar, there's no plastic bottle, no water weight, and nothing to leak in your travel bag — one block outlasts a bottle of liquid wash several times over.

How to Use

Wet your beard and the bar, then work into a lather between your hands or directly onto the beard. Massage through and rinse thoroughly. Let the block dry between uses to keep it lasting longer. Follow with Beard Oil and Beard Styling Balm for best results.

Beard Wash Block FAQ

Is a beard wash block better than a liquid beard wash?

It does the same job with less waste. A solid block is concentrated, so it lasts far longer than a bottle, travels without leaking, and skips the plastic packaging. You get the same lather and clean — just without the water and the bottle.

How long does a beard wash block last?

Used daily on an average beard, a single block lasts most blokes two to three months. Let it dry out on a draining dish between uses and it'll go even further.

Can I use it on my hair or body too?

You can. It's a gentle, plant-based cleanser, so it works fine as a face or body bar in a pinch — but it's formulated for the coarser hair and sensitive skin of a beard, which is where it earns its keep.
