What makes it different

  • Australian made — small-batch crafted by hand in the Southern Highlands
  • Hard puck, long-lasting — excellent value; a single puck lasts 3–4 months with daily use
  • Coconut-oil base — cruelty-free and free from harsh foaming agents
  • Gentle on sensitive skin — no sulfates, synthetic detergents or artificial colours
  • Built for wet shaving — perfect with a safety razor or straight razor
  • Lightly fragranced — a clean, subtle scent that refines the shave without overpowering it

Why soap over cream?

Unlike canned gels or aerosol creams, a traditional shaving soap puck builds a denser, more protective lather — and lasts far longer per dollar. Less packaging waste, better cushion, and it works best with a brush, which also gently exfoliates your skin before the blade. Comparing shaving soap vs cream, soap wins on value, performance and sustainability.

How to use it

Works with any Stuga brush — badger, synthetic or boar.

How to lather with Stuga Shaving Soap Three-step diagram showing how to build a rich lather using a shaving brush and soap puck 1 Wet your brush 2 Swirl on the soap 3 Apply to face

Wet your shaving brush under warm water, then swirl the bristles directly on the soap puck for 20–30 seconds until the brush is well loaded. Work the lather in a bowl or directly on your face in circular motions — you're after a thick, creamy consistency (not thin or bubbly). Apply to damp skin and shave with short, steady strokes. Let the puck dry between uses to extend its lifespan.

Choose your strength

Every scent comes in three strengths — same soap, different intensity:

  • RegularSubtle and clean — enhances the shave without taking over. Good if you wear cologne or prefer things understated.
  • DoubleNoticeably more fragrant — there with you throughout the shave. Our most popular choice.
  • TripleFull strength — front and centre from first lather to last stroke. For the full experience.

Not sure? Start with Regular — you can always go stronger next time. Every scent, from Australian Lemon Myrtle to Charred Oak • Leather, is available in all three.
