A gentle body soap that leaves skin soft — not tight and stripped.

Handmade in small batches in the Southern Highlands, it's a natural bar built on three things your skin actually wants: real goat milk, a mild coconut-oil base, and a little oat protein. A solid soap in a slim, recyclable tin — no plastic bottle, no synthetic squeak.

Kinder to dry, sensitive skin

Most body washes and supermarket bars clean with harsh detergents that strip your skin's own oils along with the day's grime — that tight, squeaky feeling afterwards is the giveaway. This does the opposite: a gentle cleanse that leaves those natural oils where they belong. It's a natural soap that suits dry, sensitive and easily-irritated skin — the kind people go looking for when their usual bar or body wash stops agreeing with them.

Why it works

  • Goat milkNaturally rich in creamy fats and gentle lactic acid — it conditions as it cleans and softens the lather. The reason goat milk soap has been a favourite for dry skin for generations.
  • Coconut-oil baseA mild, sulfate-free cleanse instead of the harsh foaming detergents in most washes. It cleans properly without stripping.
  • Oat protein (Avena Sativa)A classic soother for parched, itchy skin — it helps calm and condition while you wash.

What makes ours different

There's a lot of "natural" soap out there. Here's where this one actually earns it:

  • Real goat milk — the ingredient itself (Caprae Lac), not a milk-scented fragrance.
  • No harsh detergents, no SLS — a gentle base that's kinder on reactive skin.
  • Coloured only by what's in it — no dyes, no fake-fruit fragrance.
  • Handmade in small batches in the Southern Highlands — by the people who make everything else here.
  • A tin, not a bottle — recyclable, refillable, and the eco-friendly swap for a plastic pump of body wash.

Made for everyday washing

One honest bar for the whole body — in the shower or beside the bath, morning or night. Gentle enough for daily use and the whole household, and it rinses clean without that stripped feeling.

Choose your scent

Three to start — each a real, considered blend, coloured only by what's in it. No dyes, no fake fruit.

  • Matcha • Yuzu • White TeaGreen, clean and a little unexpected — stone-ground matcha, sharp Japanese yuzu and soft white tea. The quiet hero of the range.
  • Tasmanian LavenderTrue lavender: calm and floral, without the dusty old-fashioned edge. The one for the end of the day.
  • Australian Lemon MyrtleBright native citrus — sherbet-fresh and lifting. A proper morning wake-up in the shower.

How to use

  1. Wet the puck and your hands, a cloth or a loofah.
  2. Work up a creamy lather and massage over damp skin.
  3. Rinse, then stand the puck to dry — in the tin lid or a dish — so it lasts.

Questions, answered

Is this soap good for dry skin?
Yes — it's made for it. The goat-milk and coconut-oil base cleans gently and leaves your skin's natural oils in place, so you skip the tight, stripped feeling a lot of bars leave behind.
Is it gentle enough for sensitive or eczema-prone skin?
It's made to be — a mild, sulfate-free base with goat milk and oat, and no added colour. Many with sensitive or eczema-prone skin find a simple bar like this more comfortable than fragranced body wash. It isn't a medical treatment, so for persistent eczema see your GP, and patch test first if your skin is very reactive.
What makes goat milk soap different from regular soap?
Goat milk adds creamy fats and gentle lactic acid that plain soap doesn't have, so it conditions as it cleans and lathers softer. Paired with a coconut-oil base instead of harsh detergents, it's a noticeably gentler wash.
Will it dry my skin out?
No — that's the whole point. There are no sulfates or harsh foaming agents stripping your skin, and the goat milk and oat leave it feeling soft rather than squeaky.
Is this soap vegan?
No — it contains real goat milk, so it isn't vegan. If you'd prefer a plant-based option, our shaving soap is tallow-free and vegan.
How long does a bar last?
With daily use a bar lasts several weeks. Stand it to dry between showers and it goes further — the tin doubles as a drying dish.

Goat milk, coconut oil and oat — a gentle bar for skin that's had enough of being stripped.
