One Comb, Two Functions — Neatly Packed

A pocket-sized wooden beard comb with fine teeth on one side and wide teeth on the other. Designed for blokes who want to keep their beard in line without carrying two tools. Carved from solid natural wood, finished smooth, and packed in a protective leatherette case.

Choose from three premium woods — aromatic Green Sandalwood, rich dark Black Sandalwood, or warm-toned Rosewood. Each one has distinct grain and colour. All three are dense, smooth, and anti-static.

Why Wood, Not Plastic

Plastic combs generate static. That's not opinion — it's physics. Plastic teeth rubbing through hair build an electrical charge that makes your beard puff out and flyaway hairs stand up. Wooden teeth don't. Your beard stays smooth and sits flat.

Wood is also gentler. Plastic combs are injection-moulded with microscopic seams along each tooth that catch and pull individual hairs. Wooden comb teeth are polished smooth — they glide through without snagging, which means less breakage and less irritation to the skin beneath.

And a dense hardwood comb lasts years. No flexing, no warping, no teeth snapping off. The wood actually improves with age as natural oils from your beard condition it over time.

Choose Your Wood

Green Sandalwood — The classic. Light to medium tone with a subtle natural fragrance. The most aromatic of the three — you'll notice it when you open the case.
Black Sandalwood — Dark, dense, and richly grained. Feels solid and looks sharp. The premium pick for darker aesthetics.
Rosewood — Warm reddish-brown tones with distinctive grain patterns. Every comb looks different. The one people pick up and can't put down.

Fine Side vs Wide Side

The fine-tooth side is for detail work — smoothing shorter beards, tidying the moustache, creating clean lines. The wide-tooth side is for detangling thicker growth, working through beard oil or balm evenly, and general daily grooming. Most blokes use the wide side 90% of the time.

How to Use a Beard Comb

After washing and applying oil or balm, start with the wide-tooth side at the bottom of your beard and work upward to detangle. Then comb downward to shape and smooth. Use the fine side for the moustache and any detail work around the jawline.

The case isn't just for show — it protects the teeth from damage in your bag or pocket, and keeps the wood clean. Throw it in your work bag, dopp kit, or glovebox.

Clean occasionally with warm water and a cloth. Dry thoroughly before storing. The wood naturally absorbs a small amount of oil from your beard over time, which keeps it conditioned.

Beard Comb FAQ

Beard comb or beard brush — which do I need?

Short answer: a comb. A boar bristle brush works well for very short beards to distribute oil and train hair direction. But once your beard has any real length, a comb gives you more control — you can detangle without pulling, shape specific areas, and work through product evenly. A wooden beard comb also generates zero static, which brushes can't claim.

How often should I comb my beard?

At least once a day, ideally after applying beard oil. Combing distributes the oil from root to tip, trains your beard to grow in the direction you want, and prevents tangles from becoming knots. If your beard is long or thick, a quick comb after lunch keeps things tidy.

Can I use this on head hair too?

Yes — but it's pocket-sized and designed for beards. For head hair, the Wooden Grooming Comb is a better fit — it's full-sized and comes in classic or handled styles.

How do I clean a wooden beard comb?

Warm water and a cloth. Gently wipe between the teeth to remove any oil or product build-up, then dry thoroughly before putting it back in the case. Don't soak it — wood and water aren't mates.
