This is a genuine badger knot — the traditional shaving bristle, and still the best natural option for holding water and building a warm, dense lather. It's softer and more flexible than our Premium and Silver Tip knots, which makes it an easy, forgiving first shaving brush, a great travel shaving brush, and the right pick for anyone still finding their technique. The bristle comes from the traditional wet-shaving regions — the UK, China and Germany — through suppliers we've worked with for over 15 years. Every brush is then set, finished and packed by hand in Moss Vale.

Break it in & care
Breaking in and looking after your brush
A few loose hairs in the first shaves is normal — give it about a week to soften and settle in. After every shave, rinse the knot clean, shake it out and stand it bristles-up on the Wave stand so it dries properly between uses.
