Load a blade in two seconds. The WÖLFE 75 is a butterfly double edge safety razor — twist the base, the doors open at the top, drop a blade in, twist shut. No disassembly, no fiddling. Lighter at ~75g, in polished chrome, with a textured handle that grips even when wet.

Twist, drop, shut

The butterfly mechanism is the draw: twist the base, the doors open at the top, lay a blade in and close them — your fingers never go near the edge, and a swap takes seconds. A brass-alloy core keeps it balanced and solid in the hand, lighter than the 97 for a nimbler touch.

It's not about nostalgia — it's control and less waste. Skip the plastic cartridges and overpriced refills: a good DE razor shaves for cents using recyclable steel blades.

The fast bit

Butterfly doors load a blade without your fingers ever near the edge. Twist open, drop in, twist shut — the quickest blade change there is.

Which WÖLFE is right for you?

Two razors, both $59, both take standard DE blades. The only difference is feel and how you load them.

Materials & care

Chrome-plated brass with a butterfly mechanism — solid enough to be a razor you buy once.

Materials
Polished chrome over a brass-alloy core, with a one-piece butterfly (twist-to-open) head. No loose parts to misplace.
Care

Rinse under warm water after each shave and stand it to dry — never leave a blade wet against the head. A monthly wipe keeps the chrome bright.

Change the blade every 5–7 shaves and dispose of used blades safely through a Blade Bank.

Questions, answered

How do you load a butterfly razor?
Twist the base, the doors open at the top, lay a blade in, twist shut. No disassembly needed.
Does it come with blades?
No — razor body only. Pair it with a DE blade pack.
What blades fit?
Any standard double-edge (DE) blade — every brand is the same size.
Should I get the 75 or the 97?
The 75 is lighter with fast butterfly blade changes. The 97 is heavier and the most forgiving if you're just starting out.
How do I get rid of used blades?
Drop them through the slot of the Blade Bank — sealed, can't spill, and you recycle the steel when it's full.
